Abstract

Eels (Muraenidae) are represented by four species, Conger Eels (Congridae) are represented by three species, while only two species belong to the family Muraenesocidae and the Freshwater Eels (Anguillidae) and Spaghetti Eels (Moringuidae) are each represented by a single species.
